In the Gospels there is a story of a Gentile (non Jewish) woman coming to plead with Jesus to free her daughter bound with demonic activity, Jesus replied to her that the bread wasn’t to be given to the dogs, this was a term that labelled non Jewish people, one might read into this verbiage from Jesus as him demeaning her.
I truly believe that this woman was fully aware of what she had to plough through and nothing short of seeing her daughter freed was going to hinder her.
She responded to Jesus by saying, true Lord, but even the wild dogs are permitted to have the crumbs that fall from the master’s table!
Jesus was jerked up straight (Richard merely thinking out loud here) and said, woman, because of your faith, your daughter is freed.

It says in the letter to James; every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
Is it remotely possible that the good things that have been sprinkled into man are but a trail of bread crumbs there to lead one to discover who gave them?
I think of how mind blowing it is to ponder on the reality of the selflessness (the self-for-others) of God to give freely to humanity tokens of his great love even those who do not know Him.

I think (speaking for me) that these good and perfect things (gifts) bestowed upon men are only seen in the context of the person being a Christian and having nothing to do whatsoever with non-believers, but what about Him causing the sun to rise upon the evil and on the good; and sends rain upon the just and the unjust?

Perhaps the ultra dangerous mind is the one confined to never thinking outside the religious lines drawn, wasn’t that what was taking place big time in the Jews when Father Son and Spirit were poured out upon all flesh. Peter was slowly extricated from a mind crippling attitude that any real true lasting blessing from God would only embrace Jewish people; he was lead to see and hear Gentile people openly receiving the gift of the spirit, to which he in total amazement witnessed that God was no respecter of persons!

Perhaps more often than not what stands in the way of folks catching a glimpse of the magnitude of the Father’s generosity are Christian people who believe that the true bread belongs only to them!
