It truly is amazing what can happen in a day’s time. Yesterday it was the Swan Parade, releasing them from their winter home into their long awaited and anticipated spring and summer home.
Yesterday was not an uncommon day as far as what the weather was, rainy and quite cool, and today, well, it started off very cool but just got nicer and much warmer as the day went on.
Yesterday very gray and overcast, as I said with a lot of cold drizzling rain. Today, bright blue skies, wonderful cloud formations and lots and lots of sunshine.
I so enjoyed my walk home after work drinking in the much need beauty, I always fine these times to be such a healing gift to my soul.
I’m including a few shots I took on my way home, enjoy.

Hi Rich! I love your photos the swans are so beautiful! I must agree with your sentiment about walking and being refreshed and restored by it. Today I enjoyed a ten mile walk on my first day of training for my first marathon. It was invigorating and so refreshing! For me it was the red winged blackbirds and the buds on the trees. It did not take long for me to realize how I take nature and it’s beauty for granted. I think this walking and training thing is going to be good for the soul!! 🙂
Barb,
Thanks for your comments regarding the photos, the scenery here and all around here is really quite breath taking, I fully intend to discover and roam into new places to see and to experience, and I fully intend to take as many pictures as I can.
Wow, a ten mile walk, good for you, that’s wonderful, I wish you all the very best for your upcoming marathon.
You mentioned the red winged blackbirds, they are some of Margi’s most favourite birds, each year as they return, they become a real delight to her.
Indeed, the walking and training thing is a holy and wholly good thing for our souls, and our bodies. Everyday when and where ever possible, we crave and need the beauty of the out doors to calm our inner being, Father is so good at doing that as we take one step after the other.
